Our Centre

On a large piece of land in Mairangi Bay’s commercial area, you’ll find a special home away from home for your child. We are proud of our bi-cultural heritage and strive to create an environment that is challenging, inclusive, supportive and encouraging.

Our teachers are passionate and committed, a team that thrives on discovering who your child is and what makes them unique. Our teaching spaces are split between four large rooms, with a generous outdoor environment that serves as a fresh air extension for child-led learning and play. In our outdoor area, children encounter meandering pathways, lush grass and native trees. Our river bed, moveable outdoor climbing equipment, rocking bridge and large sandpits encourage adventurous play, helping young minds to appreciate the richness and infinite possibilities that the natural environment has to offer.

We promote and encourage sustainable and environmentally conscious practices, guiding our children to become kaitiakitanga (guardians) of our natural world.

An Environment of Inclusivity

We are proud of our Mairangi Bay community and are committed to working collaboratively, always striving for both children and whānau to feel welcome, appreciated and heard.

Our Bi-Cultural Focus

To embody our inclusive philosophy and pay respect to our bi-cultural heritage, we have implemented a strong bi-cultural focus within our own centre culture.

Our Community

There is a strong sense of community throughout the Centre, reflected in the ongoing, genuine relationships we have created with our whānau.

Our Learning Experience

A respectful, nurturing and inclusive culture is shown to all, with learning experiences that are tailored to ensure every child feels interested, delighted and heard.

Our Focus

In our Mairangi Bay centre, relationships are paramount. Over the years, the strong and genuine relationships we have formed with children and whānau has seen many families return with multiple siblings.
