Bear Park Hobsonville is at 172-190 Buckley Avenue, Hobsonville, Auckland 0618. Hobsonville Point Primary School is a 4 minute drive, and Catalina Bay and the ferry terminal are a 5 minute drive. The centre sits right in the heart of the Hobsonville Point community. Open Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 6.00pm. Nearby suburbs: Scott Point, Whenuapai, Massey, West Harbour, Herald Island.
Bear Park Hobsonville is a close-knit centre set in a heritage home, and that intimacy extends to how we staff it. Our ratios are well above the minimum, giving kaiako the space to be fully present with each child. In our infant rooms, babies are cared for in a dedicated group by experienced kaiako who know them well.
Kaiako at Bear Park Hobsonville hold either ECE or Primary teaching qualifications at NZQA Level 7 or above, and are registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand. At least 80% of our teaching team are fully qualified and registered. Our Centre Director has extensive ECE sector experience, and all teaching staff are mentored by Bear Park's Curriculum and Operations team to ensure consistent, high-quality teaching across the centre.
We welcome tamariki from 3 months to 5 years at Bear Park Hobsonville. We offer continuity of care so children don't need to move settings as they grow.
Current fee schedules can be requested from the Centre Director.
Bear Park early learning centres offer the New Zealand Government's 20 Hours ECE subsidy. The scheme allows Bear Park to subsidise fees for up to 20 hours of early childhood education per week for children aged three to five.
