Cure Kids Fundraising 2015

Bear Park as a whole chose to support Cure Kids in 2015 and each Centre was involved in a fundraising initiative to help raise money to support this very worthy cause. There were evenings of silent auctions, children’s art exhibitions and favourite dress up days planned.

Cure Kids has a very simple purpose:

“At Cure Kids, our purpose is simple: every single day, our researchers are driven to find the cures for serious health conditions that affect many of our children. We focus on raising funds so that vital medical research can continue until our researchers find the cures our kids need. Put simply, we fund the cures, they find the cures.”

Although, other very worthwhile causes also arose throughout the year, such as the Red Cross appeal for Nepal, we were extremely proud to be able to raise a total of over $9,000.00 for Cure Kids.

Our key organization that Bear Park wishes to support this year (2016) is the Starship Hospital so fundraising events across the different locations will once again be held throughout this year.

We plan to present the overall amount raised, to representatives of Starship Hospital at our very special 30th birthday party being held at Auckland Zoo on the 2nd of December this year.
