The role
Bear Park Remuera is looking for a teacher in training or an experienced unqualified teacher to join its preschool team, working with children from three and a half to five as they take their first steps towards school.
A resource-rich environment, natural spaces and thoughtfully curated provocations set the scene for children to investigate, create and build confidence. More teachers in the room than the ratio asks gives you time to slow down and connect with each child, and three hours of dedicated group planning every week gives you time to reflect and plan alongside your team. You will bring energy and joy to the room, and be responsive, thoughtful and kind in every interaction.
