Part of the Kohimarama community since 2005. A carefully designed centre that is light and airy by intent, with large open spaces, intimate nooks and a sustainable garden where children connect with the natural world.
With inspiration from Reggio Emilia, our teachers have a passion for inspiring wonder, creativity, imagination and investigation, fostering children's hundred languages and unravelling their theories alongside them.
The role
Bear Park Kohimarama is looking for an experienced, qualified teacher to join its preschool room: a diverse, enthusiastic team looking for a nurturing and responsive teacher.
With more teachers in the room than the ratio asks and the resources to match, it is the right environment to widen your teaching. Teachers have their own space away from the centre floor for breaks and planning, and an experienced leadership team, with a Bear Park Pedagogical Leader alongside, mentors every teacher on their journey.
