Qualified Infants Teacher

At Bear Park, we aspire to be passionate and professional advocates for children. We value our teachers, providing rich planning and collaborative development, supported by our dedicated leadership and pedagogical teams.

We are looking for a qualified infant/toddlers teacher to join our Epsom team. Our ratios are 1:3 for infants and 1:4 for toddlers. Our homely Epsom centre is in a beautiful bungalow with spacious verandahs and gardens, and a supportive family culture. Within our richly resourced environments, we are able to support children's learning in many different ways.

We provide 3 hours of collaborative programme planning time every week, to allow our teaching teams to reflect, plan and support each other as a team. This is done during work hours, to allow your personal time to remain your own.

We are committed to providing inspiring professional development, including paid in-service sessions held every 2 months, where all of Bear Park comes together to connect and enrich our practice. We also offer external workshops and conferences, and invitations to a one-week programme held in Reggio Emilia in Italy.

We invest in teacher wellness, with a wide range of benefits and rewards, including our annual Wellness Programme focussed on your holistic wellbeing.

Bear Park is family owned and established for 34 years, and is committed to high quality and sustainable practices. To find out more about the progressive things we do at Bear Park, please visit our website bearpark.co.nz and follow our Facebook page @bearparkchildcare.

Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
